It comes down to the street address. Some homes are served by Optimum's 100% Fiber and others by its cable network, and a ZIP code can only narrow that down. Call, and we confirm what your exact address can get before you hang up.

Orders are submitted to and fulfilled by Optimum, and Optimum sets all pricing, speeds and promotional terms.
The advertised rates are promotional. They require Auto Pay & Paperless Billing and last for the stated term, and the regular rate applies once the promotional period ends. Rates also differ by market, so your address may be priced differently from the rate shown here. Taxes, fees and surcharges are extra, including the Broadcast Basic fee and the regional sports surcharges on TV packages. Before you commit, we confirm your exact rate and the rate that follows the promotion.
Optimum does, and you schedule it with Optimum directly. For many addresses Optimum mails a self-install kit, and the box includes setup instructions. If a professional installation is required, or you would rather have one, Optimum sends a technician, and a one-time professional installation charge may apply. We tell you which options your address has.
Optimum residential internet has no annual term contract, so there is no early termination fee for the internet service. The price lock is a separate thing. When one is on offer, Optimum freezes the base internet service rate for the period it states, which can run up to five years on eligible plans. It is Optimum's commitment on the rate, not a commitment from you to stay. Only the base service rate is held; taxes, fees, surcharges and optional add-ons sit outside the lock.
On 1 Gig fiber tiers, the Gateway 6E / WiFi 6E router comes at no extra monthly charge. Every other tier gets a Smart WiFi router, and depending on your plan and market it may add a monthly equipment charge. On most plans the service has to run through Optimum's gateway, so there is little room for your own equipment. Ask us what applies to the plan you pick.
