About Xfinity Mobile
Xfinity Mobile is wireless service on a nationwide network, and only Xfinity Internet customers can get it. Your phone uses cellular coverage together with the Xfinity WiFi hotspot network, more than twenty million access points, to stay connected at the lowest possible cost. You manage the line in the Xfinity app, and the charges go on the account you already have.
With an eligible Xfinity Internet plan, one new mobile line costs nothing for its first twelve months. After that, the regular monthly price for the plan you chose applies. Taxes and fees are not covered by the promotion. Whether you can get the offer, and on what terms, depends on your internet plan and service address, and we check both for you.
There are two. Mobile Select gives you unlimited talk, text and data, and it keeps working when you travel to any of 215-plus destinations. Mobile Plus goes further, with 4K video, spam-call protection, device protection, and a phone upgrade every year at a guaranteed discount. As an Xfinity Internet member you pay less for either plan in the first year, and regular rates apply after that.
The two share a base: HD video streaming, WiFi PowerBoost, mobile hotspot data, unlimited talk and text in the US, and unlimited use in over 215 destinations. Plus is Select with four additions: video in 4K Ultra HD, device protection built in, spam-call screening, and a guaranteed discount when you upgrade your phone each year. If those extras and more freedom to change phones matter to you, Plus is the better fit.
Usually, yes. Xfinity Mobile works with a wide range of unlocked and compatible devices, and moving your number from another carrier is a normal part of activation. On the setup call we check whether your phone is compatible. If it is, we take care of moving the number.
No hard cap will cut off your service. Video plays in HD on Select, and Plus can stream it in 4K Ultra HD. When the network is congested, heavy users past a certain threshold may see data speeds on unlimited plans slowed for a time, which is standard practice across the industry. If you use a lot of data, tell us and we will point you to the plan that suits it.
