About AZ Wireless
Who runs this website?
AZ Wireless LLC, based in Bergenfield, NJ 07621. We are an independent retailer, not an internet or phone provider, and no carrier owns or operates us. We compare what is filed at your address and, for the providers we are authorized to sell, place the order.
Is this an official provider website?
No. It is not the website of Spectrum or any other provider, and every page says so. A provider’s issued logo appears only where we hold its agreement; other providers are named so they can be compared. Your service agreement, bill and support come from the provider.
How is AZ Wireless paid?
By providers, as a commission on service we sell that becomes active. Nothing is added to your price. We say this plainly because you should know how any comparison you rely on is funded.
What do you keep about me?
The ZIP search keeps nothing that identifies you. On a call we use what is needed to check availability and place the order; payment details go into the provider’s own system, never ours. The Privacy Policy has the detail.
Ordering
How do I order?
Search your ZIP, then call (877) 543-8021. We confirm the address with the provider, go through the plans and current offers with you, and place the order in the provider’s system. For a provider we do not sell, we tell you so and how to reach it.
Who installs it?
The provider, either with a self-install kit or a technician visit. You hear which one, and roughly how soon it can happen in your area, before you order.
Who bills me and handles problems?
The provider you picked. It holds your account, so billing, outages, changes and cancellations go through it. We can help you find the right number.
Can you help me switch?
Yes. Book the new service first, cancel the old one once the new one works, return the old equipment so you are not charged for it, and ask whether the new provider offers a contract buyout. We go through it with you.
Do you handle business internet?
The ZIP search has a Business setting that lists providers filing business service at your ZIP, including metro fiber. Business plans are quoted per location, so call and we will get you to the right sales team.
Pricing
Does ordering through you cost more?
No. You pay the provider’s own price; we never add a markup. A few provider promotions are online-only and can’t be ordered by phone, and we tell you when that applies.
Why do prices rise after a year?
Many cable and TV promotions last 12 months and then move to the regular rate, often $20–$35 higher. Fiber and 5G home plans are likelier to hold one price. We show both numbers.
What does home internet usually cost?
Most homes pay $30–$90 a month. Cable and 5G home start around $30–$50, fiber around $30–$70, satellite from about $50, and equipment, taxes and fees can add $10–$20. The internet cost guide has the breakdown.
Which fees catch people out?
Equipment rental, installation or activation, TV broadcast and sports surcharges, and taxes. None is hidden, but all are easy to miss. We go through the ones that apply before you commit.
Internet basics
How do fiber, cable and 5G home differ?
Fiber carries light on glass to the home: fastest, matching upload, most consistent. Cable uses the coaxial line most homes already have: fast downloads, slower uploads. 5G home uses a mobile network and a receiver by a window: no technician, speed set by the signal.
What speed do I need?
About 100–300 Mbps for one or two people; 500 Mbps to 1 Gbps for a busy household with 4K streaming, gaming and home offices. More only pays off with many devices or heavy uploads. See the speed guide.
Why can my neighbor get a plan I cannot?
Networks are built street by street. Fiber can stop at a corner and cable capacity differs by node. That is why the ZIP result is the start and the provider confirms your exact address.
Does satellite work everywhere?
Almost. It reaches nearly every address; low-orbit service has much lower lag but needs a clear view of the sky and costs more up front. It is the fallback where wired and 5G options are thin.
What is the fastest internet I can get?
Where fiber is built, 1–5 Gbps is common and some areas file 8–10 Gbps. Cable reaches 1–2 Gbps downloads in many cities. The ZIP search shows the fastest speed filed near you — and how much of the ZIP it covers.
